|¼ cup canola oil||1/3 cup cocoa|
|3 egg whites||¼ tsp baking powder|
|1 tsp. vanilla||¼ tsp salt|
|1/3 cup flaxseed meal||½ cup walnuts, chopped|
|1 cup sugar|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix canola oil, egg whites, and vanilla together thoroughly in a small bowl. In a large bowl mix flaxseed meal, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Add wet ingredients to sugar mixture and stir well. Add walnuts, stir to mix in. Coat an 8×8 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Pour batter into pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let brownies cool completely before cutting. Yields 16 brownies.
