Here’s to Safer New Year’s Celebrations

HiRes-minNew Year’s Eve is a time to celebrate with friends and family, reflect back on a wonderful year and look forward to what’s to come. However, it’s important to make sure you stay safe while celebrating and that begins far before the clock strikes midnight.

Dr. Samuel Prater, UTHealth emergency medicine physician and Medical Director of the emergency department at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, offers several tips for staying safe, while also having fun, during New Year’s Eve festivities. From eating a hearty breakfast to planning a designated driver, there are plenty of things you can do throughout the day to ensure your protection at night.
