Who says healthy can’t be tasty? Spice things up with Mexican Quinoa.

It’s #FoodieFriday around here at Memorial Hermann!  In honor of February and Heart Month, we’re continuing our tradition of blog posts featuring heart-healthy recipes created by our affiliated chefs and dietitians.  This week’s creation features the protein-packed grain, quinoa (keen wah).  With a rich, nutty flavor, this grain contains every amino acid and is a good source of iron, magnesium, vitamin E, potassium and fiber.  Our quick and easy recipe for Mexican Quinoa is sure to become a new family favorite.
